Following on from creative writing workshop, in which participants were to respond to themes from Etta's War play, this workshop will focus on working with text prepared by our playwright Jack Dickson based on/inspired by pieces written by creative writing workshop participants. Over the course of four sessions, the group will rehearse the text forming spoken chorus and will perform along professional actors on Salute!event on June 28th. We will also explore couple of songs. We are keen to hear from people of all ages and abilities. No previous drama experience necessary! Our director will make sure that every member of the community feels confident and happy to be involved with such an inspiring project.
When: Wednesdays, June 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th 6:00-8:00pm Where: at The Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre, 13 Whitevale St, Glasgow G31 1QW

I have worked as a director and facilitator of community theatre for many years. My work has taken me all over Scotland and beyond, and I have worked with a range of companies, including National Theatre of Scotland, Communicado, The Tron Theatre, Scottish Youth Theatre, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland andThe Royal Lyceum among others. My passion is for storytelling, and my favourite thing about this job is helping others find a way to tell the stories that they want to tell.
